Pack does not show up in GUI

I made a simple pack wich resets a couple of textures to its vanilla state, but when i loaded it in to minecraft i shows up in the resorcepack folder, but not minecraft. I checked and the pack.mcmeta file is there, anyone knows why this can happen?
