Optifine CIT and potions

Hello. I'm making a resource pack with custom potion textures using Optifine CIT. I came across a problem where the custom texture still has a color tint over it (for example, a custom poison potion texture is green, even though it shouldn't). I tried some stuff like changing layers in .properties files, or using a custom model, but I didn't work (or I just did something wrong). Is there a simple and working solution for this?
