Making one-way see blocks

Hello! 👋  Me and my friends have a private map that we play on. I want to make a resource pack that includes a block that is one-way see-through.
I tried using jack-o-lantern but quickly realised its impossible to make it transparent
I also tried using stained glass but all of the sides include the same texture so it kind of defeats the point.
Is there a way to do this?
