i cant get my texture to load correctly

i wanted to change the model of the dragon as well as the texture but first the texture was purple and black squares so i resized the texture file and now its all white. i did have a minor hiccup with it looking really bad model wise but now i think i just have to inflate the size of it but i cant figure out why the texture isnt loading
