Help making a datapack.

I am a beginner to programming and datapacking, but have been playing Minecraft for 10+ years and am very familiar with the game. I am looking to create a datapack that changes how Minecraft generates worlds, and am looking for help getting started. Does anyone have recommendations, tips, tutorials, ect, involving this topic? Thanks in advance!
