Custom minecarts

Hello, ive been trying to modify this datapack (https://modrinth.com/datapack/darcenos-minecarts) to make it so that minecarts go faster when they are crafted using a custom crafting recipe, instead of having every normal minecart doing that. is there any way to do that?
