Adding ores in 1.21.9/10.

I tried to add custom ores in the newest versions of minecraft. I've used configured and placed feature mechanic. But it seems that no matter how I do it, I can't create a new ore. I've added features by my_name folder/worldgen and edited biomes in minecraft/worldgen.
