Copper Pipes Datapack Downgrade (made by ctkrocks)

I want to downgrade this datapack that uses copper grates as pipes to transfer water and items. I have barely any experience with datapacks and I'm not sure what exactly I should look into changing. I tried going through the changelogs to find datapack changes, but I couldn't really figure out exactly what changes needed to be made. The original datapack is for snapshot versions 24w37a - 24w39a and I want to downgrade to 1.21.1
