Detect item that is renamed

I swear, 1.21+ is messing with me, I struggle doing simple commands now
why isn't this working 
/execute as @a[nbt={SelectedItem:{id:"minecraft:stick",tag:{display:{Name:'{"text":"diamond"}'}}}}] at @s run setblock ^ ^ ^5 minecraft:diamond_block
