/title times issue

Hi, i tried to modify for how long an actionbar title is visible on screen, and to achieve that i used /title @a times 0s 500s 0s which should make all actionbar titles for all players have no fade in/fade out and stay on screen for 500 seconds. but somehow it doesnt do anything. like literally, titles stay visible the default amount of time and still have fade effects. i might just be dumb, but does somebody know how to fix it?
