A way to limit loot in chests?

Hi, playing atm10 mod pack, and chests from villages and just in general are almost 100% filled with loot which is annoying and too op, so i wanted to lower the loot for chests.
Is there a way to like limit loot in chests for all loottables in general?
I tryied with Kubjes scripts but that doesnt seem to work, and I think having to modify 460+mods is insanity.
Hope somebody have an idea. 🙂 
I just want chests to have like maybe 2-5items max
