(1.21.5) how to make armor pieces invisible?

for context, making a helmet that makes you invisible when sneaking simply using predicates
unfortunately it leaves the helmet visible and it kind of ruins the whole point of invisibility so I'd like to know if there's a way to make it invisible and then make it visible again
