Custom Block Guide?

Are there any guides for making custom blocks with datapacks? i havent managed to find any on the datapack wiki, and im assuming my previous (though forgotten) knowledge on how to make custom blocks might be outdated. Atleast i assume, considering it was like 1.18/1.19 last time i tried
