"tag" game

Hey, I´ve been trying to figure out how to make a reverse tag game, where you want to be "it". I think my solution is way too complicated. I made it so when you throw an item (a specific one) the nearest player gets tagged with "1" than, the nearest player with the tag "it" gets their tag removed and the, than the nearest player with tag "1" gets tagged as "it". Then all the "1" tags are removed. I find this quite unstable, sometimes doesnt register at all :/ Thanks for any feedback 🙂
