Recipe not adding?

I'm putting together a datapack for a server, and one of the things I wanted to add was a crafting recipe for tridents. For some reason though it appears that the .json file with the recipe isn't being read by the game correctly? I'm not sure what the issue is because I just added crafting recipes for chainmail armor, a custom glider, and changed the recipes for Eyes of Ender, Ender Chests, and End Crystals. Any help would be appreciated.
