Pickaxe Components

I'm trying to find a way to change the wooden pick's ability to break certain blocks, I made a quick test recipe that outputs a wooden pickaxe which is unable to break stone, the only issue is it seems to have overridden all other uses of the pick and it is unable to break any blocks. So is there any way to change how well a pick breaks one particular block?
