Very new to datapacks, but with all of mine I keep getting an unknown function error.

I just made this basic datapack that sends a message to everyone, but when I run /function simple_message:message i get unknown function error. My knowledge doesnt stretch much past chatgpt so I got no clue why my game recognizes the datapack but not the functions. Versions 1.21
