floor crafting

so there is floor crafting where you just drop the items on the floor and it crafts. I was wondering if you can make it so that it only works if there are certain blocks around it? for example:
to craft soup you put a beetroot on a furnace and above the furnace there is a cauldron with water in it with a note block that is powered and the instrument is set to banjo or whatever. does that work?
