Item floats like an item display when using /give

Whenever i use my test item function give @s minecraft:apple[item_name='"Nutritious Apple"', food={nutrition:6,saturation:3.5}] 1 tellraw @s {"text": "Test Info: NUTRITIOUS_APPLE: 6 NUTRI, 3.5 SATUR","color": "#00ff08"} I am given the apple but for some reason an apple item floats without any movement in the air from where my head was at, you cant pick it up and the only way to remove it is /kill @e[type=item]
