Custom String Duper Item Doesn't Work

The crafting recipe works, and the /function command to test works, but adding it to my world doesnt spawn string at the crafted armor stand, and I dont know why. Please help. Also, if you have a recommendation to make it work without just having a long complicated name, like custom model data or tags, please do tell. Thank you.
