My custom model data PLS

My custom model data does not work for my Datapack. I am in 1.21.2 - 1.21.3
I want to put a custom model data for the leather which has a rabbit hide texture. For practical purposes, the new texture is renamed "ruby" but this is just for testing.
Help me guys... 💀
