Smelting Pickaxe Datapack

yo, making a datapack for smelters pickaxe from hoplite. Made the resource pack for it and made part of the crafting recipe, but I need help with the actual smelting aspect and some help fixing crafting. Anyone down to vc to help me, or msg?
