Command block help. how to execute if item in any slot of a dispenser

How do I execute if a dispenser has an item in any slot? Not a certain slot, I need it to shoot the fireworks with so that when you press the buttons, the fireworks will shoot and the score to complete Mini's quest will complete. But I don't want you to just press the buttons anyway and complete the quest without the fireworks.
