Custom Life time on arrows?

i have a enchant on a bow that creates an explosions if the arrow hits something but since the arrows last for so long it is possible for the arrows to explode again if the block they are on is removed so i was wondering if i can add custom lifetime to these arrows so they delete themselves only after 100 ticks
