Make old console/pocket edition limited sized worlds

Is there any way to change the noise settings in a way that keep the world form generating after a certain point and it just becomes an endless ocean or void? It wouldn't matter if it was laggy further out because you would stay on your "island". Is there any way to do such a thing?
