simple drawers

i am trying to use the simple drawers datapack but i cant see the guidebook in my hand, just INSIDE THE GUIDE BOOK.
it might have something to do with this on the page:
"⚠ Warning the datapack has to be loaded at the world start (or server start)! (If not, you will have unmatching textures)", i still dont know how to do this
