Mending Book Recipe 1.20.1

I'm attempting to make a recipe for a mending book in minecraft version 1.20.1, before components were added. I've never made a datapack before and am truly stumped at this point. I'm just not sure how to format it so the enchanted_book actually contains the mending enchantment as a stored enchantment, to apply to items as I please. Would love some guidance if this is even possible prior to components being added. Thanks
