Way to remove recipe popup and fully remove it from crafting book?

I recently followed a tutorial on making consumable spells by using knowledge books to grant a recipe that triggers an advancement etc. etc. My problem is that I can still see the recipe that the knowledge book grants even after I remove it from the player. Also, if possible, I'd like to remove the recipe toast that appears when you use the item.
