Changing Information In Tab List

We are looking at this datapack: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/server-pronouns-pack/
However, the other admins only want the pronouns visible in the User List (see screenshot). 
I see that this is using teams to get Minecraft to display this, but that also means it will display in chat and above heads. Is there a way to segregate this behavior out? Or is it all or nothing? Or is there another way around this that someone can point me to?
We want to use datapacks (and not a mod) as it will be easier to update (aka me to update).
