Need help with custom dimension biome placement

Basically, I'm creating a clay version of the overworld as a dimension. I created clay biomes. But, I notice that my clay desert doesn't generate as much as my clay badlands, the clay snowy tiaga generates much larger. And snowy biomes are generating next to deserts. Also, I tried making rivers and it failed. They were just like oceans or lakes or something.

How can I (in 1.16.5, no I cannot update) find noise map options for each biome (temperature, humidity, altitude, weirdness, and offset) that generate in vanilla?? I just want to copy them. And how do I make things like beaches and rivers work?

I tried using misode but it doesn't seem to show what happens in my game. On misode, no snowy biomes are next to deserts. but when I join, they mostly all are. And I just don't understand, because even when desert and taiga have opposite values, they are right next to each other.

I'm just really confused and would like someone to help create these settings with me maybe?

Right now I have clay forest clay plains clay birch forest clay snowy taiga clay desert clay badlands clay ocean and clay river but its super broken.
