Custom Block Piston-Proofing

I made a custom block, but have no idea of how to make my block piston-proof. I guess I could make the base block be obsidian or some other unpushable block, but that particles would be very off.
Does anyone know of a way I could either make the block immovable or make it work with pistons? Thank you!
