Quotes automatically getting deleted

Whenever i run this command data modify storage hexenwerk:temp display_convert.prep set value {"text":"","font":"hexenwerk:spell_display"},
the storage data gets set to {text:"",font:"hexenwerk:spell_display"} for some reason
Can i stop this from happening?
