datapack structure help

struggling with adding structures with jigsaw blocks into my datapack, i've added the structure correctly as I can /place it, the second part of the structure seems to be working too as the structure block can generate it, but not automatically when /placing the structure, also when i click generate on the jigsaw block it spawns the structure in the wrong orientation
