Minimap Datapack Possible?

I've been thinking about how to create a minimap using datapacks for a long time. After endless attempts, I did not get satisfactory results. That's why I'm asking here if it's possible to display a minimap. Well, I've seen with my own eyes that it's perfectly possible. But I would like to know how to implement this. I think, for example, that the actual map is linked to the UI, but I can't create it. If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.
