More ores in datapack dimension?

Is there any sort of way to make a datapack dimension have specific features? Tldr, i'm trying to make a cave-mining dimension where ores spawn more. I think i've found a way to make more ore spawn features, but i dont want to push them into the overworld biomes, and just effect the cave dimension. Even if it's not through features, is there any way i can make more ores spawn specifically in this datapack dimension?
