"Block Decay"

How can I make a blocks of a specific type dissapear ~5 seconds after it's placed?
If possible, a breaking animation during those 5 seconds to indicate how much time is left till it "decays".
Trynna make a server-map that allows players to build but their blocks fade away after ~5 seconds on the ground.
