Item Lore Not Appearing

More or less, I am using storage pathways to keep villager trade presets stored. I then construct a villager's roster of trades from the presets using /data modify append, and this works fine. However, sometimes the lore on the items they sell randomly doesn't appear. More specifically, it appears as I meant for it to for a split second and then disappears. I am able to have 2 lines of lore on all items, I am even able to have 3 lines on others for unknown reasons, however on most if I add a second line of lore like this it simply makes all of the lore appear for a split second and then disappear when hovering over the item. If I remove the second line of lore, in this case stated as "Example" it simply works completely fine. This is a very confusing issue...
