How do I make a new dimension, new biome, and use existing minecraft biomes as well?

I got a mod that makes a new dimension and can mess with it via datapack. The dimension has a custom biome and currently the biome is taking up the entire dimension.  I'm wondering how I might be able to "sprinkle" some other biomes from base game in, specifically the lush caves and maybe dripstone caves.
